Yea..my SA is a really good guy, i'm sure he wouldn't mind me taking the 1 at his dealer out every weekend. I bring him a venti coffee frap to bribe him.

Haha, never settle...and the wait was worth it!
Still have fond memories of my trip and just seeing the car, brings all those feelings back. I'm gonna have to go home and get my car now after lunch!

Glad all was worth it. Hearing that just gave me a warm feeling about the car i'm about to see in a month.

Sucks that Bmw's site is off. Wrong color, options, and still shows on order. I just chatted with my SA, he says his website he can see it in production.

Yes...sometime in April last year, you used to be able to see something very close to what the dealer see in terms of production status. Back then, the options were accurate and the website was a lot simpler interface wise but conveyed the correct info. It even gave you order status codes which translated into exactly where in production your car was (in paint shop, assembly, etc).

Try to delete, then re-add your car with the production # and see if it changes. Initially that worked for me and showed the correct car and options/color. However, if your CA sees the correct car/options on his screen, then I wouldn't worry. Also have you tried calling 800-831-1117 yet? That is also pretty accurate, but will just tell you production status. Considering that your car will be here in a month...you also should be getting a VIN# shortly.

Thanks for the info...I called that number and it said it's in production and it should finish build on 03/27.

So..now that I have confirmation, how long is the travel over the water?

The trip across the water if it makes a boat at the dock about to depart is 2-weeks, but give it another week to 1.5 weeks to clear the VDC and get to your dealer.
Considering you have a completion date already...maybe call your CA on the 24th or 25th and see if his system shows a vin# already.

My SA is now what I call a friend. Extremely a great guy. We on gchat
during the week and he give me updates once he hears something.
Again, I trust him, I just wanted to hear or see for myself.

Still..I would like Bmw's websit to have updated and correct info.
Of course i'll continue to watch it, in hopes it will update correctly.

Well a little update, my SA checked on the production, and it has advanced one day from03/27 to 03/26. Maybe I get lucky and this will go straight on to the vessel without waiting. Also, Bmw's tracking is now updated with all correct color and options.
