If that information about BMW production is correct, they will be pumping up production for the 1 series in June. Maybe that will mean that many of us ordering around now will be getting or cars built sooner rather than later.

i just called the number and i got the "scheduled for production with no completion date set" message. Although my CA says he sees it being completed by 6/3/09 and he went so far as to give me an ETA on the cars' arrival on the east coast... 6/23/09... we'll see about that!

I changed my exterior color yesterday. I decided to go with Sedona Red instead of Alpine White. I think in the long run I would enjoy the metallic paint much more than the flatter white. Sedona should be more satisfying after hours of washing/waxing.

I'm still getting lemon interior though

Must be the week for space gray 1's with coral interiors.

I called then number and they say my car in also in production and will be completed by June 3. Nice.
Hopefully it will get here by the end of June, that would be really cool.

Hopefully, we'll have them for the 4th.
I usually take a week vacation right around then. I'm waiting for my 1 before I take my vacation this time.
I'm thinking of heading to the BlueRidge Pkway. and driving all the cool roads around it.

i have driven on the blue ridge parkway before...very beautiful. frustrating at times when getting stuck behind someone when you are in a no passing zone and they are crawling...but thats when you pull off and take in more mother nature.

I just got a scheduled completion date for mine - 6/3/09! I didn't order it until 5/22 but the dealer changed out one he had ordered. It bothers me that the BMW NA website still shows the black coupe that they changed to my white convertible. I also understand from the sticky that the website is consistently several days behind.

I am hoping for delivery to the performance center in the first half of July. Seems like I have a chance.

I wonder why everyones production date got bumped...Maybe BMW scaled production up??

I let my CA know that the website still showed the black coupe they switched to my white vert. He told me it was right on his production schedule and should be right now on the website. It wasn't so I deleted it and added it back. When I added it back, using the production number, the system added a VIN (or partial VIN, it is only two alpha characters and 5 numbers).

It only takes a minute to take it off and put it back. Might be worth trying if you want the VIN or the vehicle isn't what you ordered (yet).

i just called my CA and he gave me my VIN. I think you need your entire VIN to track your car on the shipping websites. Getting closer....

Wouldn't the last five digits of our VIN tell us this? Like if mine was 12345 and yours was 12346, then our cars are one right after the other. This would be pretty neat to find out.

My Car was scheduled for week 21 production and it is completed on May 19th if i am not mistaken..

Still waiting for the Shipping Vessell! How long is it gonna take ? Any ideas? I can't take it anymore...
