Hey Everyone, I need for everyone who is interested in going to PM me with preference of Weekday or Weekend. If it is weekend, it will be a Saturday, if it is Weekday, it will be a Friday. I will take majority rules on this, as I am getting many different opinions. Also, I need to know who is solidly committing, as this venture will take a lot of planning in the next week and a half. Thanks!!!!

Also, we will probably be have two meeting points. One will be here in Concord, NC @ Zmax Dragstrip 6:45am (7am wheels rolling), the other may be the BMW Performance Center in Greer, SC (8:45 wheels rolling). The early crew will leave from Concord @7am and head south to BMW in SC, where we will meet up with the others, by 8:30 and leave out @ 8:45. This way the further south you are, you will not have to back track, from Concord.

I have been looking forward to a dragon run for some time, I KNOW weekdays are better for traffic but I am definitely in.

Never can tell but we ran the Dragon last year on the Columbus Day holiday and there wasn't much traffic but we got an early start as we had spent the night before at Fontana Village and did the first run before the photo guys had even set up. We were done with both runs before 10AM and then hit the Cherola Skyway on the way back. Doing a one day trip to the Dragon and back makes for a long day if you stay on the back roads.

Guys, I was originally looking @ the 10th. I was told that I will be working, until the 3rd week in october, pretty much straight through. As of right now, I will have to reschedule. This will give me more time to plan this trip, and maybe make a 2 day deal of it. I do apologize, as I was looking forward to it also. I will put one together, shortly.

Well since this is not happening I am hoping some of you come out for the bimmermeet on Sat. at road Atlanta. I would love to get a mini-convoy of 1ers up there (3ers are welcome to of course...or anything bimmer related). I was thinking maybe of convoying from United in Duluth? Any takers? Rodi? Brady?

The only way to get on the track tomorrow is if they are still allowing people to pay $50 to ride with a professional driver in the M3 GTR for two laps. After riding with my instructor for one session on Wednesday, I would say it would be $50 well spent. Im just not sure they are doing it tomorrow.
