I have never understood why folks don't just take those RFs off, put them up for when you trade/sell the car and/or just give them away like it did. If you drive in a straight line all the time I could understand but then...you should have bought a Buick

Some people, like me, like to keep their cars for a really long time. Last I knew you were trading every few months or so.
Hey rodi, didja know our SGM is no longer available. I think it stopped being offered pretty early in 08. Point being we have not only year 1 cars but special paint as well. Collector's! If I had AW like Call I might consider letting it go sooner.
What's your interior color Rodi?

Now, now...you know I have had Paris (my MCS Cabrio) for four years and she isn't going anywhere; and, now it's been over one year with NoBlinG. I really think I'm done...until the MINI Roadster hits the market

6th of May I might be able to make a road trip up to the ATL since I will have returned back to the states by then.

11th I will be in the Orlando/Tampa area (InsaneSkippy you aren't gonna be there? Noooo....LOL...)

Anything in late May/June is good for me!

p.s. I should have wheels, KW's, and swaybar installed by then too!

I'm not sure what my dates for traveling are yet, it's been crazy trying to plan this trip so far. I'll shoot you another PM once I can actually get my dates figured out once and for all

actually, yours is the special color - only offered on '08s. Mine is an '09, so it's merely Space Grey. interior is black. :]
but mine does still have the 'year 1' marks. :]

Okay, a FunRun is set for this Wednesday, May 13th. You guys coming from the ATL area can come up 85/985N to exit 22, then left on 129N to the QuikTrip on the right. We will then motor N thru Helen on 75N, meander thru some side roads to Clayton, then to Franklin, NC and on to Wayah Rd to Nantahalla Lake, along side Nanatahalla River to Nantahalla Outdoor Center, then on toward Bryson City, right on 28S and back thru Franklin, Clayton and 985 S back home. ONE&ONLY, if you can make it just let me know where it will be best to meet up with you.

Time for meeting point in Gainesville is 9 AM. Please confirm you can make this and pm your cell so I can contact you. If its is raining the morning of the scheduled FunRun we would need to reschedule because this particular route would not be any fun except on dry road

Four counting you if you commit...so far. More would be nice but four will get it done if no others can sneak away from work or other commitments.

Weather forecast for Wednesday is chance of scattered showers, high of 75 which at this point looks good to go. I'll check the forecast Tuesday afternoon and give an update here.

Why not just meet up with us in Gainesville at the meeting point at 9 AM, drive with us for about 2 hours or so and then turn back. That should give you plenty of time to get back for work.

And by the way...just checked the weather report. The chance of rain has gone to zero...partly cloudy...76 degress...no way in hell I'm missing this!
