I used the ebay "make an offer" and the seller accepted my offer of 485.00, shipping free.
Std. UPS ground to my house on the east coast took 6 days....That's the only catch.

Installation happens tomorrow....

Nice.... wicked awesome in Boston. I am heading up that way the next few weeks. Definitely going the the "Black Rose" for some chowdah and a pint of Guinness.

Well, one can't believe EBay, big surprise... Even though the seller's page stated this exhaust system would fit on a 128i Convertible, IT WON'T.

However, the folks at ECO Muffler in Quincy MA were totally awesome and were able to make some cuts and weaved the thing into place....

Lesson learned don't trust EBay seller page. Compatibility has to be verified with the manufacturer's page....Even Magnaflow dot com doesn't come right out and state the system won't fit the convertible.

...But anyway

The exhaust system is just grand sound is fine no drone. The system has only been on for a few days ~300 miles so far great sound, great look.

I weighed the stock system 40 lbs. the shipping label on the box stated the weight was 37 lbs. The box alone with the packing weighed about 6 lbs. I estimate I saved maybe 8 lbs. The clamps weren't used at all as the system was welded in place.

Many thanks to ECO Muffler in Quincy MA.. Great save.....Wicked Awesome.

I am trying to find pricing and purchase for the 2011 exhaust but having no luck! Is it really different from the 2010 model? Any help with this is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
