Adaptive headlight warning - All works normal though
Hi all, i recently had moisture in my headlights do to me not putting the headlight cover on properly (it was dark in a parking lot so i couldnt see well). My headlight went out but my adaptive system still seemed to work. the headlight would zero when you turned it on and there was no errors. I just let the headlight dry out completly and replaced the ballast yesterday. When i pluged the headlights in this morning, both worked as they should however a couple min into running i got an adaptive headlight error, i turned the car off then tried it again, same error came up. My question is, do i need to have the headlight reprogramed for the new ballast? do they need to realign themselves or am i missing another step here?

I had an intermittent problem with an AHL CEL. I didn't have any moisture though. Dealership replaced the footwell modules, which didnt fix it. They replaced one of the motors that was shorting out occasionally and it's been fine since.
