There are numerous, lengthy write-ups on the PPK here. The short version: the gains from dyno reports appear to be what's advertised: modest.

And that's 20hp. I saw some guys spoke about 5hp gains, just want to make sure it's not that.

Why PPK? Is your car under warranty or an N55?

Id go for COBB - been superb on my N54 car. PPK gains are very minimal but you do get to keep the warranty.

Yes still under warranty, have about 60k kms to go and was thinking jb which I can remove when taking the car in but I just can't seem to pull the trigger.

Som guys have no issues with warranties, take it out and all is okay, other guys have theirs waranty cancelled, so I'm struggling to take that risk. It's almost pointless having a high performance car that if there is an issue you must sort it out yourself, I mean they pay for brakes, wipers... Everything and to potentially throw that away, I don't know.

Modding a car, there is always a risk, I just don't know If I am willing to take it.

Not much has changed from a couple of weeks ago when you last asked:

You're just going to have to make up your mind and pull the trigger. Or not.

You right.. The temptation of more power with jb vs warranty. Last time was the ppk2 tho.

Warranty won... Just ordered it. hopefully will get it in the next week or so.

Advertised HP improvement for the PPK1 is 20 flywheel HP. I have not seen anyone who measured less than 20 WHP, and one at 24. One Dinan chart I saw here showed only 12 WHP increase. I think the Dinan tune is way overrated. I had a lot of miles with a non PPK 135i, and I like the PPK a lot better.

I'm on my second 135i with the PPK. First one (2011) was added, second one (2013) came from the factory. Both were great- definitely add a lot over stock.
