Logs?? 114mph is good. What COBB map? That must of been some decent boost you were running.

Yep 114mph is a really good trap speed - impressed.

Gotta go out next week assuming my new resistors arrive!

I havent had much luck with the cobb with logging as it seems to only last for a few minutes before saying it has lost connection; so I didnt bother last night.

The map was v301 stage 2+ Aggressive+FMIC. They have v401 beta maps out that I was considering running but will wait for full release.

C'mon Steve. Can't wait to see you hit 19psi with those new ohm resistors.

I personally wasn't a fan of the "Off The Shelf" COBB maps. They are a little generic in regards to particular ECU's. However a custom tune would be a different story. ATR sounds good though.

I've run that map also Steve and saw a peak of 18psi tapered to around 14.5psi. Far too aggressive for a car without meth IMO. Do you know what boost you were seeing with your car? Maybe race fuel or E85 may give you a bit of security with that boost.

I'm ready to go out to WSID when you guys are.

Sounds like a plan.

And we'll do the 5 x black 135i photoshoot!

Only person who won't have a Kerscher front lip though is Steve H!
Steve/Gumball is getting one off me this weekend

Darn courier lost the package with my 620ohm resistor so luckily they are sending another one. Need to get over 17psi!

I would have come Sunday except we had other things on, and the lack of runs would have been really annoying.

No front lip for me and my view is if it doesn't make the car faster then there is not point.

I'll be out again, especially since Stu did a 12.7 with JB4, I need to crack a 12 with a Procede to get some credibility back!

Theoretically I reckon the front lip would slow you down.. more drag/resistance!

I'm away for work next week so I can't make it :-(. You'll have to reveal the mods if you gets some good times!

Exactly.

If there was an easy way to do a CAI I would, but all that cutting and screwing around just seems like hard work to me!

What about just a BMS dual cone intake? Installs pretty quickly... I'm planning to have one in for next week... should shave a second or so off my time

Problem is that open intakes are illegal in NSW. I could put them on for the drags, but it seems like a lot messing about and then I need it to autotune so it may not work that well unless I can get some 3rd gear pulls to redline in (IIRC).

Maybe I'm just lazy :-)

I'm not sure you're going to get a street 135 fast enough so that becomes an issue :-)

Just a general question to anyone with the knowledge; I have a set of 17" 262 style bmw wheels in my garage that arent likely to ever have a good use again.

I think they are 7x17 + 7.5x17 so not very wide but I was wondering if fitting up some sticky nitto tyres on the rears might be a goer? Or are they not wide enough to be of any use?
