best shot I could get. I made sure the light from the inner halo was at what the camera and photoshop consider to be "0"
As you can tell the outter one is REALLY dim. |

Hmm, they are kind of dim. It's hard to tell if it's just your camera settings, or the actual bulb. Have you tried rotating the bulb to make sure it's seated properly? They are tricky.

You can rotate the bulb to better illuminate however the factory headlights are designed to have the inner beam be brighter than the outer. Even the factory bulbs are like this so there is only so much adjustment you can do.

I tried that nick, no luck, the outter ring still gets little to no love in the light department. Night time is a bit different but even on an cloudy day like today, you could barely see them. My old RD v1.0 on my LCI halogens was brighter than these across both halos.

It would be nice if they were a bit brighter to actually function as lights that help you see, as opposed to simply a cosmetic mod, but I didn't want the complexity of an HID system.
Also, as I mentioned earlier, I'd probably give Redline Motorworks a try, since they offer the WL's at the same price, but don't charge for shipping. To be fair, Jlevisw.com shipped them to my door in about 3-4 days, which is reasonably quick, but I'm all about cost efficiency
