Priority One Options

My salesman told me today that Terra and Lemon are available at $1450 and that Savanna Beige will be available with March production. Unfortunately, no Anthracite headliner.

:w00t:
That would be excellent news. Have you worked with him previously? How's his cred?

Wow! I guess my prediction about those two being priority one might be spot on! The Savanna Beige color might be very nice with one of the blacks or blues too. We still don't know if that color is two-toned, like Terra, Lemon, and Coral.

That's the important question. My bet is yes, since they are otherwise priced just like any other leather. Lemon for $1,450 might sway me away from Black 'ette.

It's $1450 total, not in addition to what leather already costs. They can be a replacement leather color when combined with the Premium package (at no additional charge from the ZPP charge).

I'm not trying to be dense here, but I'm not quite understanding. I can order just Lemon Leather for $1,450, without also having to order ZPP, correct?

I wonder if we can get the 264 wheels through Priority One......

You've got it! you can order it as a standalone option for $1450, or specify Terra or Lemon as a 'no additional cost' option when ordering the Premium Package.

Trust me.. you're not getting wheels as a P1 option, although that would be nice.

I'm thinking it's just like marrying a movie star: wonderful to look at, but hell to live with. Just my opinion, yours may differ.

Yes. Lemon would be a bear to care for, but an individual owner could be much more careful than the typical hotdog eating car show slob. :iono:

The black interiors get just as dirty. You just can't see it.

That's true.

There were some pictures of that carshow floating around here that where you could actually see the discoloration on the Lemon colored leather.

I could easily see a pair of bluejeans staining the hell out of that interior. No takers here.

That's the real concern. Jeans or even a black leather belt.

Personally I think adding lemon results in a 3 tone interior here in the US that is undesirable. You have lemon seats, black dash and lower portion of interior, then a gray headliner. Lemon looks amazing with the anthracite headliner though.

Interesting observation. Taupe does the same thing, no?

If you take the headliner into consideration, then all interiors are at least 2 tone, and Terra, Lemon, and Coral are three tone (none of which go well with gray). That's why I was stoked to see the anthracite headliner on all the early e82 pics. Ah well. Just don't look up.

All the interiors in the US do it except black because it matches the dash. W/o the anthracite option everything is 3 tone, except black (2 tone). Here is a pic for comparison, although its not so extreme in these, when you view the 360 view its very obvious.

My brother has a brownish leather in his 08 535xi and his belt buckle has stained the seat. He cannot get it out! Now he wishes he got black and he is very anal with his cars. Ouch!
