ER Chargepipe BOV Question

Charge pipe finally gave so im going to purchase the ER one. Is there any benefit of running either the TIAL or HKS BOV ? which one do people normally run ?

Both work. If you want something civilized get the Tial, if you want something loud, get the HKS. Tial is probably the most popular.

tial is better for holding big boost if your planning on upgrading turbos at some point. but the HKS is perfect for FBO boost levels and under. I have a video on my youtube channel of the HKS with sound clips if your interested in checking it out click the link in my sig

ill check it out, does HKS require a 1/4" vacuum line ? i heard that you have to modify the stock vacuum line running into the manifold to work with Tial. Does HKS work like tial with the spring rates ?

BTW your link in your sig is broken

Mine is direct/OEM fit, but I do not have DCI's. Best guess is that they should have no issues with clearing the filters as that setup supposedly requires the least volume.

Nobody is saying you have to go with Synapse, and I don't get paid by them so I'm not trying to sell their product. It's just another contender as to what BOV/CP setup you have to choose from. All are excellent build quality, so I guess it ultimately comes down to what type of connection you want at the throttle body and how many meth bungs you want. I do nothing more than spirited driving, so I'm fine having a clamp on boot vice the C-clip and no ports for methanol injection. I know how to use a drill should I change my mind.

This is honestly the first I've ever heard of this. I wonder if it's specific to the radial or synchronic valves.

Nonetheless, it's easy to get 'proven' quality from renowned brands like HKS or TiAL and I'd never bash them. I just like my valve as it does it's job and I can personally vouch for the quality of it being top-notch.

It's true. We still offer the Synapse and they have been "OK" but if anyone asks I recommend a Tial or HKS over Synapse.

The biggest problem a few years ago was they were failing and synapse was not warrantying them.
