Those with pre-September cars and IDRIVE...

So, is this the *complete* list of things that need to be corrected? I'm trying to get a full handle on this.

1) MP3 capability
2) Cycle through the AUX Audio input source with the steering wheel button
3) Setting DRL in iDrive menu
4) "Save Name"/no contacts if your Bluetooth phone doesn't sync the phone's contact list
5) RDS for radio

Anything else? Please list any other issues I might have missed, and any thing that there has been a released fix for. Thanks!

2) Never checked
3) No such option
4) My phone is able to transfer data to the iDrive so I don't have a problem getting my phonebook
5) Fixed with CIP 19.2, although I have to say it works terribly

1)havnet checked
2)havent checked
3)cant do it
4)bluetooth has been working just fine for me
5)RDS worked after i got CIP 19.2

BMW should come out with software/hardware for us early buyers.

I've seen someone post a picture on here of the configuration screen where you set DRL. However, I think it was a post-September car, but I'm not for sure. Has anyone gotten this option after a software upgrade? Thanks.

Yes u are correct!
All cars made in Sept. or after now have on/off in idrive for DRL's.

1) Still not working
2) Works now after 19.1 update
3) Only the dealer can turn it on/off, there is NO option in IDrive for this.
4) Mine always worked fine
5) RDS is active in the 19.1 update

3. I can do it using I-drive
4. Never treid
5. RDS works

Car is september build and I haven't take it in for any update.

You know what that AUX isn't confirmed, I take it back.... let me try this out and get back to you.

I can't imagine you don't have the option to turn on/off the DRls in i-drive. You sure you looking at the right place?

Yes 100% about the DRL's the pre-sept cars do not have it as an option in I-Drive only as a Dealer option that can be ON/OFF.

I was referring to the AUX switching though in which I said was working but I might have mistaken it for SAT radio now that I think about it. So i'm going to test that and get back to you guys.
