Too bad man! My son is 7 and has no problem fitting in the back seat with a car seat. Hope you at least bought a 335i saloon!

7 year old front faced car seats are fine and fit perfectly. Rear faced with a newborn its impossible. Unless my wife wants to either ride in the back each time were in the car. We tried it once before the baby arrived, and my wife was smashed in the front seat (and shes tiny).
