So far no one has been able to verify either way on this point. You seem certain in your post. Do you have any sources you can cite that it definitely will be turbo?
Well, I'll never give up my sources, but I can tell you that they are BMW employees, not dealers, at the corporate level. Info on the 335 will be released as soon as December/Janurary. BMW is launching a new car every month for the next several months.

it is from suppliers, it's not completely accurate but gives you a time frame as to what happens when.

Rumor has it the 335 will debut in the coupe. Do your source(s) say the same? If so will we see the 335 e92 at NAIAS (1/2006), Geneva (3/2006) or New York (4/2006)?

Yes, the coupe, as to what show, all I know is that it's 1st Q, but likely either Detroit or Geneva.

That was actually quite funny. With all this new information... I simply wanted to make sure we were all walking the straight and narrow.

I was planning buying in fall of 2006 anyway so this falls perfect for me. Also i dont think you should wait for it, if u are about to buy one now. Because if u want the latest, you will allways be waiting, after the new engines come out, u will get a glimse of the refresh/facelift, and you will be like oh i will wait for that, and then mayb another hp boost comes and you will wait for that. And then the a new 3 series model comes out and you will want to wait for that.

Eventually the 3 series will no longer exist as the numbers creep up to the 400's.

I also am waiting for a 335i. I am going to try and order one A.S.A.P. I cant wait, which is bad because I am one of the most impatient people alive. NOT a good combination. I love the idea of a turbo 3.
