Running Lights on 08 135i

I have a 08 135i with the adaptive headlamps, and I absolutely HATE the yellow/amber Day time running lights, has anyone replaced those? I looked it and couldn’t even find any white DTR lights…

The angel eyes? Sure people change them all the time, GP Thunder bulbs, Lux, BMS, and Alpine H8 replacements (Or OSS if you have $$ disposable income)...tons and tons of info out there, try searching the forum i'm sure you'll find what you are looking for.

Oh a word of warning, if you do mess with the headlights, be damn sure they're sealed up properly when you're done. I've seen too many people on this forum have to spend over 1k replacing adaptive headlights because they didn't seal them well, and water got in. BMW will likely laugh at you if you try to claim a warranty issue with an aftermarket bulb/ballast.

Yes this is what I was talking about, the ugly amber lights on the corner of my headlamps...

What do you mean coded off?

oh yeah I already got after market white lights for the halos, haven’t installed them yet, but what I meant is I wanted a bulb to replace the ugly yellow corner running lights.

ahh gotcha, my mistake..but yea you can code out the amber bulbs, to eliminate the amber plastic youd need to buy euro headlights.

Does it require access to the GT1 or is it something that can be turned off with the OBC?

OBC "On Board Computer". Thought the GT1 was the computer BMW dealerships use.
