New wheels without new tires?
I have been looking into wheels for a while now but I am cheap and do not want to buy new rubbers since mine are newer and in great condition.
That being said, I really like the CSL style wheel but I want keep my tires. Right now I have BF GForce T/A KDW 245/35/18 on the back and 216/40/18 on the front. I love the looks of the tires, really aggressive, and I don't want to throw them away. I have the 264's now that have some rash on them and I really don't like the looks. Would I be wise just to wait for these to wear out before going with a new set up or would I be happy getting rims to fit the tires?

I saw a post earlier and http://www.ebay.com/itm/18-HYPER-SIL...0e4824&vxp=mtr
those are the wheels I want. Reasonable enough for my wife to not notice the money coming out. They should fit with my current tire?

It's very common for owners to re-use their old tires on a new set of wheels. You shouldn't run into any issues.
That being said, also be mindful that depending on the width of your new setup.. the tires will sit a bit differently than on your 264s.

I shouldn't have reposted this, I saw something like this a few posts down.
It is a 35mm offset 8" in the front 9" in the rear. I am ready to pull the trigger on this, I hope they fit!

215's and 245's will have a "stretched" look on those widths, but won't look terrible. And you will have rubbing issues on the front. The offset is too low with those wheels. I'm running a 18X8 ET40 up front with a 225/40 tire and cant fit my finger between the tire and fender lip. Just a heads up. I'm running 2.2 degrees on neg camber too. Stock camber and I'd hit the fender. ET35 is gonna push the tire 5mm closer to the fender.

I don't want to roll any fenders right now, so I have to look for a CSL style wheel with different offsets which may be difficult in my budget.

You may want to look at something like one of the VMR wheels that are made in 1-series specific offsets. The other one I saw that looked VERY similar to the 1M CSL wheels if you want to see side by side comparisons are the Breyton GTSR wheels. Compare here:

Those look great, but my wife will see a $1000 going out compared to $500.
Maybe rolling the fenders isn't a bad idea. I found a place here that will do the whole car for $80. How much rolling would I need fit? Or should I just keep looking for wheels with a better offset.

That would make a $1000 set of wheels cost me $1500, homie isn't playing that game. I may have to dip into the cash stash...
I have never knew about offsets and all that. Now I know about it and everything makes sense. I figure I am going to have to bite the bullet and get a proper wheel setup. I am really in love with those CSL style wheels. But I also do like the 269 style wheels but I feel like it looks as aggressive as the rest.

I snapped these on the way in this morning. The 11's were not from me, just thought I would take advantage of them! Can't wait for the after pics!
