I thought LCI headlights have the LED strip in top. These pics show the pre-LCI headlights.

The LCI happend in 2005 over here for 1er hatches.

The 2012 LED brow lights are not what BMW offically calls an LCI. Because ALL one series coupes (e82's and e88's) are already LCI.

We 1addicts have adapted the "LCI" term to mean LED brow lights, even though BMW does not use this term. The OP lights are for any e82/e88 (or any e81/e87 LCI). They do not have the new style LED brows.

LCI is a term for mid series model change... for us theonly significant change that would warrant a "LCI" is the tails and the headlight change.. because we never had the early versions of these vehicles the idea of a LCI change for US happened this year.

technically only the e87 had a lci change in 05/06... but it is what it is. Cant have an lci of a car that wasnt produced yet

@Dackelone: Thanks for the explanation, you are right.

To make it clear: The offered lights are without LED brows, but they will fit in all 1series

Prices aren't too bad for new with bulbs and ballasts. Try offering a price w/o bulbs and ballasts for the ahl set. Might get a few more bites.

Not too hard.
Maybe you have to bumper the bumper.
The car has to be coded by the dealer.

If you have a xenon car they are plug and play with the dynamic lights.. No coding..

If you have a halogen car you can run non "AKL/AHL" with a harness or conversion
