Does your car sway a little on the freeway?
I notice when i go on the freeway my car sways a little from time to time. Has anyone felt that when they drive on the freeway? Is this normal?

No, I wouldn't say sway. It feels planted pretty firmly actually, especially when you're cruising at about 95mph(on the track, wink wink). 95mph seems to be the sweet spot on my 135i. With quick tight turns I have noticed a bit of body roll, but nothing that everything else about the car doesn't compensate for...Maybe lowering it with some coil overs would reduce this, but I'm not making any mods until warranty expires in 35k miles or 2 and a half years, whichever comes first...Somebody that has lowered it or gotten the performance suspension might be able to say if there's a difference.....

the only time i noticed sway was when i was on a road with severe side winds, and that was for like 5 seconds until i corrected.
splitters might help your problem

I notice it driving down the A6 from Mannheim towards 656. But I would have to say that it's the wind. Because it's only in areas where the wind is channeled on the highway like near bridges and such. I haven't noticed it anywhere else on the autobahn.

It's dead solid, especially compared to my Legacy GT that liked to jump out of its lane when it got hit by a wind gust. Are you driving on heavily grooved pavement?

I've noticed some unexpected movements, but only on a certain stretch of highway under very windy conditions. Same road without wind is perfect.

My car occasionally sways on the freeway due to the grooves worn into the road. Since the 135i has a smaller than average track, it gets pulled back and forth at times. But no grooves, no wind, no sway.

I don't feel the sway when driving my 135i at 130mph on the autobahn...

My car always feels solid. But if the highway is crappy, then it sometimes sways.

*raises hand* -- yup...my 128i totally sways on the highway. Drove into a thunderstorm the other day with some crazy Texas gulf coast winds and was all over the place. Going down the highway between 70-80 with the cruise control on I have to pay a lot more attention to keeping between my two lines than I ever did with my previous car (2001 Celica GT-S). I'm actually at the point that I can't even be lazy and relax and drive with my left hand propped on the window and manage to say in my lane (I know I *should* keep both on there...but hey it's a long boring commute through the middle of nowhere). I used to be able to fall asleep in my Celica and wake up 30 minutes later and still be in my lane (okay...I might be exaggerating a bit there!).
The 128i handles 1000x better in the torrential downpour that I found myself in though than my Celica though. It was sweet...traffic slowed to about 30 mph and I swear I still didn't even need my wipers. By the way...no regrets trading my Celica in for my 128i. I loves it!

Amen. Just to clarify...I didn't mean to suggest I had the cruise on in the rain...the two def don't mix! An excellent safety tip for everyone.
I had a coworker total his Subaru driving in the rain with the cruise on...hit a puddle...started to hydroplane and the cruise slammed on the throttle (or possibly the other way around). He walked away...the car was a goner.

My 128i really shines on the highway. Rides wonderfully. Haven't driven it with a heavy wind but will report back once I have. I do feel that it pulls to the left a little but that could be due to difference in tire pressure or uneven pavement on the road. It supposedly had a wheel alignment in the last 1k.
