Well that would work, though it's ugly-ass and a pain to attach after you've reeled-out the belt.

By the way, the problem is when the flapping turns into a rapid buzz that lascerates your shoulder.

Although it is ugly, I tend not to look at it while driving. And it only has to be attached and adjusted once - the only problem being that (after exiting the car) it prevents the belt from retracting and one tends to close the door on it if not careful.
