It is super annoying that we can not get the anthracite headliner in the US (without super special ordering). It should be really interesting to see how some owner's thoughts compare to one another.
Thanks again for the pictures. Just remember: drive it like it was meant to be driven (at least until after break-in, of course). :roundel:

I had the HK system on my E36 M3 and I thought it was better than the HK system on my E46 330i. The Logic 7 in the 335 beats both of those earlier HK systems by quite a margin. I am still not sure if the "Premium Audio System" found in the US-spec brochure is the same as the HiFi option you have in the 135. Does it have DSP (various music modes and/or a grahpic equalizer)?

See what happens when you're the first to post you've taken delivery?! One more question from me, do the seats have any type of lumbar support or are they completely flat? The smallest curve would satisfy me. If they are completely flat, I'll have to pony up for the premium package.

Hi Jack, congrats on the car. I've ordered AW with red leather, not sure if I am going to change to black, also ive ordered auto. Some questions if i may:
1) How are you finding the suspension? Is it a harsh ride our roads? 2) Is there any indication of the "pogo" bounce on motorways that EVO mentioned? 3) Is the PDC worth it? 4) Is the DAB rasio worth it? 5) Are the Xenon's worth it? 6) I havent gone for the sat nav, is it worth the money? Enjoy the car and post more pics if you get a chance Cheers Paul |

Thank you for providing these impressions. I had been expecting a driving experience not far off the 3, since the two share parts and the 1 isn't all that much lighter. But it seems this is not the case.

Hey Jack,
Nice car. I would like to get something similar. However, when you said that it was a tight fit in the inside it brought on concern. I am 6'3" and just under 200lbs. Where do you stand? I was hoping to get some insight because if I go to the dealer and sit it one I'll be sure to drive off with one. Congrats again! |

2. Only had a short burst on the motorway so far and it feels very stable and together. 3. As you know you get the rear PDC free anyway. I optioned the front PDC because parking spaces are a nightmare in London and I've always ended up cuffing my front bumpers on previous cars. Maybe I should learn to park better, but I thought this might help! 4. I had DAB radio on my 335 and absolutely loved it. Guess it depends on how often you listen to the radio, but it's a must have for me. 5. Xenons are worth it for me, because I drive out to the country a lot. For city or town driving alone, I 'd say they are a waste of money. 6. I hesitated until the last minute with optioning the Sat Nav, especially as I already have a Tom Tom, but I had such a hard time selling my 335 without it, I decided to suffer the cost and think of the resell in three years time when it will be vital on premium cars. I'm not sure it is worth the money it to be honest and I'd definitely prefer the look of the dash without it. Cheers Paul. Great to know another Brit has gone for AW. Red leather was a bit too loud for me, but good luck to you. Sure it will look great. I'll send some pics of the black interior on Saturday. |

I was only 1 when it finished in 1978!... however, consider me rightly ashamed.
Good grief!

Major Congratulations ! Enjoy and be safe out there this Holiday Season!
That is the exact set up we are looking to get, except for the interior we want the red coral so it will jump out on the magazine pages Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all! Jeff Zusman Eurobahn Performance |
