How do we know what week build we are? My order was just placed today 5/18. Says status 112 on my order form. Where do I see the status number change? Sorry for all the newbie questions!

Ordered mine last week, it has a 26th week production. Code 112 as of now.

The wait is gonna be brutal, fo sho. I'm thankful for this forum, otherwise I would really be getting impatient.

How do you know your most up to date code? I have a code of 112, but thats what's on my order sheet. How do we find out if/when it changes?

cpt, where is the production week listed? Or do you need your sales associate to tell you that?

Your CA should tell you all this stuff. He specifically told me my build week, when I should expect it, etc.

Log onto the BMWUSA website and it will have your car there and tell you what stage it's in. I don't think it has the number though.

cpt97m3, our cars should be produced at the same time.

i ordered mine on 5-16 would my CA already have this info by now? I wanna know if i should bother calling him tomorrow to get my production # & build week...

he should give it to you when you buy the car. i actually saw him put the order in, and he showed me the allocation they had. good guy.

You're spending alot of cash - you're the customer, demand it.

I Figured as such an djust shot my CA an email. He kept mentioning the fact that the website tracking is delayed etc almost as if he didnt want me to have the production number

He did mention the ordering system was down on saturday when i placed the order so i figured i would give him a day or 2. He did verify over the phone monday that the car was ordered already so i need my DAMN NUMBER!

My order has been updated on the BMW website! Says my color choice (changed from Jet Black to Black Sapphire Metallic) and all my options are listed correctly. This must be a good sign!

Still waiting to hear from my SA with which week my build is.

The sales guys thinks he may be able to find a May build, but I'm not holding my breath. I hope he does find one though. I extended my current Audi lease till the end of June, and it looks like my 135i won't be here by then. I'll have to really charm the Audi finance people to get them to give me another month if I need it.

BTW, if anyone wants a Crimson/black/poplar, manual, prem, sport, htd seats, and it's $250 less, built before the price increase, It is a 2009.
It's on the East coast. To get it to the Chicago area it would have been another $500.

6/2/09 - I guess thats one extra day for the techs to practice putting things together before they get their hands on mine.
