Interior CF trim

Anyone know of any companies who make a glossed CF trim for the 1ers? Not looking for vinyl wrap, but more like something similar to the BMW Performance stuff like this:

they tried to make the CF interior trim pieces but ran in issues with the clips...according to Andy a few months back, it is not going to happen from iCarbon......BMW Performance is the piece for great fit...you may have to fork out some bucks for this but in the end if it makes you happy than than it may be worth it....I do agree with ya...the wrap is OK but the REAL stuff is the real deal and no wrap or vinyl can compare in the long run..

Yeah but it's still fabric. I want something with a hard clear coat shell on it.

I had the full BMW CF kit in my coupe. I think the least Ive seen these go for was from BMW dealerships on ebay. Mid to high 800s if I remember correctly.

Check out www.bimmian.com, specifically under the E82 section.
They have a full AutoCarbon trim inlay kit for sub $600 price.
From what I have read, the auto carbon stuff is pretty good quality.

They are not vinyl. They're real CF overlays.

From the link in your thread:

These items are different from all others on the market. These parts are made by true carbon fiber craftsmen and are made from only top quality materials using the newest DRY CARBON technology. Dry carbon technology creates very consistent weave on these parts and allows for an extremely thin part. This technology combined with professional clear coating, free of drips or blobs creates a perfect looking kit every time.

These overlays fit precisely over the existing trims, and are attached using adhesive tape. The CF quality of these parts is incredible, and you will be surely pleased. All parts are easily removable if required.

ok so it's dry carbon... I think the overlay part is what I'm trying to stay away from though. It might BE carbon fiber but it's gonna look too similar to the vinyl wraps everyone else has.
