Euro headlight switch part #
I'm looking to retrofit the European headlight switch to enable the rear fogs. I'm not interested in modifying my U.S. switch. The only part # I can seem to find is 61316938864 and that looks to be a switch with the manual leveling rheostat. Anyone know the part # for the switch with front/rear fogs and no manual leveling? Perhaps you have to get a Euro switch for a car with Xenons to avoid getting the manual leveling rheostat?

I have this... BMW Part No: 61 31 6 932 796
It works well! I especially like the tailgater deterent nature of the rear foglights. Just poke the button a couple of times to flash the lights. http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/61_3...796/ES1866753/ ECS Tuning, $117.55. Not a hateful deal. Easiest mod I have done on the car so far. |

select EURO car and not USA specs. Then you will find it. Or just run a search here! Dackel |

Yeah. Tischer is crazy with deals. They sell stuff at less than my wholesale cost, and, no tax or shipping. Good thing I am running out of stuff to buy!

So poking around on realoem.com, it seems there are two versions of the switch I'm looking for, xenon and non-xenon. The part # above is for the xenon version. Anyone know if the xenon version can be used on a car without xenons?

Try not to or you lose the auto range control. Headlights are locked in position. Also, the switch is wired to your rain sensor (if you have the option) that control the auto driving lights function. |
