Can't park! (2)

Okay, this time it's me unable to park. Motherf***ing uni carpark had a protruding bit of wall that made contact with my spoiler BEFORE my wheels made contact with the concrete stopper.

Funnily enough, the height was JUST right so that the wall nicked my spoiler, and spoiler only, ripping it along my boot without snapping or causing any other damage. There's some scratches where the spoiler has slid along the paint but nothing that can't be polished out. It rebounded right back into original position after I moved the car forward again. Time for iCarbon spoiler then aye boys?

Time to get some CF :-)

Sorry to hear mate :-/ There's a carpark like that in Parramatta that was probably designed as they built it. Hard lock will only just barely get you around the corners.

Ouch

Not sure what the iCarbon product looks like, but I use the BMPW spoiler and think its the perfect shape for our cars.

That's actually really lucky! If it hit the boot it would have been far more expensive to fix...

Sorry to hear mate, at least you missed the bootlid - that would have been an expensive exercise!

Much appreciated. Not much lost though, just a bit of plastic.

Excuse for mods! The missus won't be able to bitch about this one.

I think it's very similar, I've been wanting to get some carbon bits for a while.

WORSE design. At least put the stopper forward a bit more.

Yeh, I chuckled to myself a bit after that. If the car was any higher, it would've destroyed the boot. However, if I already got my car lowered before parking there I would've missed it altogether Still...it means I can go carbon now
