+1.

What is shape/diameter of the molded flange on the back side of the splitter where a hose for cooling the brake rotors would be attached?

Thanks.

I'll get some better pics and info for you this weekend - it was getting dark yesterday and I just snapped a couple of quick pics. I have the "matte" finish and I actually I think it looks better without the rounded edge of the splitter installed because the angles of the lip show up.

Agree.

What I'm really wondering is whether it is designed so a 3" hose -- whether round or crushed into an oval -- could be easily attached.

Thanks.

Andrew, I spoke to you yesterday regarding this beauty. My wife departs for her deployment in Jan, so I may have to sneak this in from IND while she's away.

Can this be purchased without the lower piece or the logo indent on the front?

haha well that's the best time to do it. It can be purchased without the lower splitter, however, that logo square is a permanent fixture.

I believe they are designed to attach to these:

This lip looks great on AW, don't really like it on VO.

It looks great, but how much more does it lower the front clearance? It's already something you have to worry about driving in the city.

Those additional pix are terrific. Any idea what size hose would fit for ducting cold air to the rotors?

It looks like a 2" - 2 1/4" hose would work - however - if you look at the backside of the lip, the bottom of the duct hole is in very close contact with the bottom of the lip. I really dont know if there is enough clearance to get a hose around the entire duct hole? I will be removing this lip next weekend in preparation for the 1200 mi service - while I have it off I would be glad to measure and take better pics for you to see what would actually work.
