Would DIY intake void warranty?

Just wondering, would a DIY installation of a genuine BMW Performance air intake void the warranty?

Doubt it, unless you'd obviously installed it wrongly.

Unless it can be proved that your installation caused faults in the car, then I don't think so. Best to ask your SA, but he'll say you have to get it done in a BMW dealership...Obviously
