Ooohh I like these a lot! Something different from the regular mesh! I just wish they were 7.5F/8.5R to stay D-Stock legal

Weight and strength is posted in the first post. We put the wheels on a scale prior to mounting the tires, but we did not write down the weights. We'll post the correct weights in the near future once the tires are off again.

These look better than I expected APEX. Super respectable weight. I'm thinking about them for my street wheels.

onefastman, I don't see much of a lip if any at all.

I think he was talking about the front bumper lip (Vorsteiner lip)

The lip has seen A LOT of track and street use. It seems to be holding up just fine when. I borrowed it to drive to Bimmerfest (1000 miles round trip), and I only scraped it leaving a driveway and a few speed bumps when I could not drive over them at an angle. But it seems to only scrub the bottom and not the edge.

Yes, the APEX caps are replicated after the OEM fitment so that they can easily be replaced with BMW roundels.

These are really nice. Much better than the csl knockoff wheels that we usually get.

Prices?

It sees a lot of track time and rides great on the street since it's on AST 5300's.

The wheels will be available in Q1 of 2011. The commercial section is where specifics are allowed to be discussed

These wheels will be finished production in 3 weeks, and we should have access to all 4 finishes mid February once they arrive. We'll post pictures for a color comparison at that time.

I'm working on getting photos of all 4 finishes as they have arrived.

In the mean time, here are some pictures of the sample set on the AlekShop 135i

The car is new and on a factory suspension. The same wheels/tires were used as on the BR Racing 135i.

18x8" et45 front 225/40/18
18x9" et50 rear 255/35/18

You can see that the wheels fit very cleanly. without fender rubbing issues:

Very cool Eddy. I love my Apex wheels (track wheels) and this has me tempted to pick up another, darker set for the street tires. You guys are killing it!
