JB3 2.0 FML

just updated the jb3 to the new 2.0 software....HOLY CRAP! almost 380 bhp with no other mods, significantly smoother, and the boost kicks in almost instantly after an upshift. truly approaching the immediacy of an NA engine. oh yeah, and i now see 16psi regularly instead of just an occasional peak!

anyone who wants the new 2.0, let me know! if you have a jb3, you'd be a FOOL not to update. it only takes about an hour, between removal/reinstall of parts and actually burning the chip...though you need to make sure you have a newer g3 board (see n54tech.com)

he is right, 2.0 is wonderful. I did a few logs back and forth with Terry and made a custom map 1. GEEEEZ me car pulls like crazy. I want to tweak it a little more and put it on the dyno. Oh, and you only need the G3 board IF you want to run the USB cable into the cabin. Otherwise, just burn 2.0 on a chip and put it in your previous G2 board.

Its is awesome no doubt but you have no hope of getting 380 whp with the tune alone. To get 380 at the wheels you will need a full bolt on setup.

Its an incredible tune no doubt but lets be realistic here.

Just installed 2.0 and HOLY $HIT it is insane! Love it! It's impossible not to get traction control to kick in while opening up first gear, unless you turn it off.
