Want some opinions

I'm thinking of some aftermarket wheels for my 128i White vert. Any opinions on these?

You probably won't find many people accepting chrome here (me included)... chrome lip maybe, but not full chrome. It should be whatever you like though.

There are starting the be a number of nice, medium-priced wheels for the 1-series offsets now.

Don't like um.

Too heavy with all that chrome, it will cause a loss of performance.

I replaced just my RFT's with Conti DWS and shaved about 10lbs of unsprung weight. MPG even went up by 1mpg, maybe a bit more.
Less weight is good, more weight is bad.

I prefer performance over style. If you can get both, even better.

That design without the chrome might be nice.

Hope you like spending hours and hours cleaning your wheels.
The chrome is - how do I put this? - too inner city.

If you are into that sort of thing go for it.

Me I don't like the chrome thing but if it is for you don't take any notice of others.

I think you might find some photos of other 1'er chrome lovers if you search hard enough.

Good Luck
