RealOEM prices?
They have to mean something, at some time. Why do I never/rarely find a part # for what they have it listed at?
Why can't I order from RealOEM at that price? (dammit) I have a squeak on the PS and I found out it's being caused because one of the tabs at the bottom of the A pillar is broken off. Real OEM lists it for about $28. But I can't find that price anywhere on the internet. *sigh |

Because that is the suggested retail price. Most dealers have a price "bump"(+5%, 10%, 20%...) that they mark up their parts prices. That's why it pays to shop around. Try using on of the vendors on Bimmerpost.

Also RealOEM reflects the price before inflation and demand.
Just take a look at ordering OEM 1M body panels. They've skyrocketed due to all the 1M conversions.

I'm in the same boat as well, I found it on getbmwparts for $132 despite RealOEM listing it for $28. Talk about being shocked!! I assumed prices shot up since this car is no longer in production. I'm good for now the piece seems to be nice and tight in place so I'm losing no sleep(for now).
PS:Let me know if you find it for less.

realOEM.com is a catalog reference service site only - a great tool if you're familiar with navigating the actual BMW parts catalog diagrams. Their pricing is typically way out of date and only gets updated once in a while. This isn't really a huge issue since they do not actually sell BMW parts on the site.
BMW updates their pricing on the 1st of each month (some months these are much more noticeable than others). Our site will always list current BMW MSRP when shopping by BMW part # here. We encourage customers to take advantage of the catalogs on realoem.com to locate parts/part #'s and if anyone has any questions, please feel free to reach out to Evan or I. Back in my E39 days I recall using an online website that will help you source the cheapest BMW parts. Just pop in the part number and it would search pelican, autohausaz, dealerships, amazon, etc. and return the prices. I cant remember the site from memory, will try to find it.

This isnt the same one that I'm remembering but looks pretty cool nonetheless. Gonna give it a try from my laptop since I'm on mobile.
