Back to stock, but intake?
Especially on long trips, would it be more efficient to have the stock intake? I currently have the DCI from BMS, what would you do?

On long trips I would use the stock air box. Lower iat's and not loud

You won't notice much difference with an aftermarket and intake and no tune. You can still run it, it wouldn't hurt but you can't expect huge gains from just the intake.

You guys have too much time to spare. I don't understand why the after market DCI would bother you on a long trip. I drive my car a lot of long trips and have no complaint about the noise (see my sig). Actually in most cases, I had my windows down just so I can hear the music better:-):-):-)

The noise doesn't bother me, I like it actually, but more concerned about power loss when the engine is running hot. Especially in the summer. I think I'll go back to stock.
