Coding new parts
So I replaced my heater control panel due to a damaged defrost button and my heat doesn't work anymore. The fan works, the display works, seat heaters work, but the air is cold. Also the same day I put new gauge overlays on and since I unplugged the gauge cluster my clock and calendar don't work.
So I bought BMWhat and a OBD wifi and I am going to do some coding. What is the actual process to code new parts? I don't have the wifi yet. Will the app show errors and lead me through the process? I look at the list of coding options on the app site and I don't see anything about coding new parts. Thanks |

dunno about BMWhat, but to code modules most of us NCSExpert. plenty of tutorials floating around on how to code modules.
You will need to code the "IHK" module to reset it to factory settings. If you need more details PM me, i dont know how to setup email alerts to posts i make haha |

Yeah I've discovered that BmWhat is kind of a waste of money. You can change the voltage on your halos and code in a digital speedo but those to me weren't worth the price. It will code batteries on the MS version but not on the iPhone. But you don't find that out until you've already bought it.
And since I have an iPhone I can't code my R53 either. |
