I think it looks pretty respectable for winter setup
Hey thanks for the pictures. I was about to buy a set of wheels I wasn't a big fan of before I came on here. The F10's were on sale but I wasn't a fan of them on the Tire Rack car at all. These pictures sold me on them.

I put Gill - 1addicts in the referral box so hopefully you guys get some credit for the sale.

Indeed it is.

Gill, are you going to have stock again in the Sport Edition F10 machined finish / black?

Additionally, thanks for passing along the request for Space Grey to be added to the e82 View on Vehicle colour choices (it works on the e90/92). Hopefully that gets accomplished soon.

They are adding the color, it should be live in just a few days.

I'm sorry but that color on the F10 is gone. It will not return this winter season.

After too much research....Sport Edition SE-16 17x7.5 - 40 and Blizzack WS70 205/50-17
30.8lbs less weight than the OE wheels/run-crap tires. Way better ride. Still need to find some nice BMW center caps. Car is 135 with m-package. All stock.

This morning was the first morning it has actually felt like winter outside here.

Are there any deals on all-season tires via Tire Rack currently? I tried the search option and all it brough up were Winter Tires and then as I got further down the list it started listing Summer Tires.

Mail in rebates are the only incentives on all-season tires right now. Michelin may also have one in the next day or so.

I have three year old Sport Edition A7s. The paint on the rear corners of the spokes is bubbling, so it looks like I will get just one more winter before the paint starts to fall off.

I've noticed that after placing my order for the Sport Edition KM11's, they say hardware included: hub centric rings. Are these absolutely safe to run during the winter without cause for concern? Are people running these replica wheels without them?

Getting them installed tonight

The rings are necessary if you wish to have vibration free performance.

I'm thinking about skipping TPMS for my winter setup. Any issues?

You'll get a warning light on your dash. There are system to defeat this and should come up with a search.

I guess I can live with a warning light for a few months.

I just finished the first winter in my 135i. I ordered a set of 17" Sport Editions and Continental ExtremeWinterContact tires which were great. I had ZERO problems except on solid blocks of ice.

I didn't install TPMS in the new wheels and only had a warning light which is no big deal. I will NOT be installing TPMS on these ever as I had my stock setup on one day when it dropped to about 14 degrees and had the TPMS go berserk. It continuously tried to reset itself and alarmed me non-stop. NON. STOP.

Any word on whether or not 17x8 ASA GT5's will clear 135i brakes?

I see them listed under the 128i options, but not for the 135i. I know other tires that fit both aren't listed for the 135i either.

Anyone at TireRack know for sure?
