My 2009 135i had only minor issues. Everything was replaced under warranty. Fuel pump replaced 4 times and left me on the side of the road once. Limp mode happened on the other failures and I made it to the dealer. The third brake light cracked 3 times. I always took it in on time for service and I noticed a laundry list of things that were fixed/replaced w/o me even noticing there was ever an issue. Such as injectors and the various recalls and software upgrades. I sold it w/ 47K on the clock and I miss her dearly.

HVFP (fuel pump) and turbos. Both BMW has covered for an extended period of time. Lots of info on this board about these items.
