alignment question....
After installing H&R sport springs my car was driving fine and straight on the stock 16" wheels. About a week later I installed after market wheels (see my sig) and noticed that the car slightly drifted to the right. Soon after I had the an alignment shop (Clarence Brown in San Diego...very reputable shop) adjust the alignment. Unfortunately my car continues to drift to the right during highway speeds and the steering wheel appears to veer to the right as well. I spoke with the techs at clarence brown and was told that because of the staggered setup and directional tires that my car is proned to some "tracking" and the drifting was not due to the alignment.
Was his remark valid? Should I get a 2nd opinion elsewhere? thanks!

PM Marcus. He has the Eibach Pro Kit drop, and a similar set-up to yours with the wheels and tires. He had his aligned in Gardena.

I don't know if this is your problem, but here is an excellent article about "Tramlining" from Tire Rack:

It might be the tires, or a tire. Tread Pull is what it's called. If the treads on a tire are not strait, the tire will "wander" or "pull". I had this before on my old car, I had to get tire replaced because my car would pull to the right everytime I let go of the wheel, but the alignment was fine. a new tire solved the problem.
