Performance software for 135i

I am thinking about purchasing the Dinan stage 2 performance software upgrade for the 135i. Dinan claims 384 horsepower and 421 foot pounds of torque. What do you think? Good or bad idea?

I am going the same way, while it is teh most expensive "tune" out there, I like the idea that my dealership has some skin in the game in case it f*cks up.

We just recently got it in the race car. The car now rockets in acceleration and I had no issues in driving it back and forth across the country (great gas mileage, cruise control works)

I ran a 12.65 with my DINAN stage 2 tune with the runflats and the AFE intake I now have the RIss intake and know it is faster. Can't beat DINAN

The Dinan "warranty" is WAY overblown. Good luck with it.

SSTT for and safe power gains, and JB3 for bigger gains. For even bigger gains, add catless downpipes, cheap intake and maybe an exhaust.

Dinan's claim is also fly wheel horsepower, NOT at the wheels

How can the Dinan warranty be "overblown" when the other tuners offer you absolutely no support or warranty coverage ??

Search around on E90. You get into a situation where Dinan says it's the engine or part that's bad and BMW says it's the tune that's causing it.
I'd prefer to have something I can remove and bring to the dealer.

You forget that BMW's software is designed to find add-on tuners and set faults when they are detected.
