I like that girl too! She is cute. And if you really like her, you should watch the new sitcom "How I Met Your Mother" on CBS, Monday night. I love that show !! (not just because of her).

I know what you mean! I was hesitant about buying a Bimmer because I was afraid I'd be worrying about it everytime I parked it... But, what's the alternative? Buy a lesser car that you'll enjoy less but won't have to worry about as much? That wouldn't make a Hell of a lot of sense either!

My feelings exactly! We all love our cars, but all you can do is be as careful as possible and hope for the best! This is what I'm doing: I live in suburban Maryland, but work in DC. With my last car, I'd been driving all the way in and parking in a garage downtown which, like every garage I've ever parked in in a big city, was too crowded and had rediculously tiny spaces resulting in countless door dings and bumper scratches. With my E90, I'm parking at a garage in Maryland (about halfway to work) which has really wide spaces and a lot fewer cars, and taking the metro downtown. I admit that I'm doing this primarily to prevent dings, but the side benefits are that I'm avoiding the hassle of city driving in rush-hour traffic, I'm saving about 5,000 miles a year wear and tear, and I'm saving about $100 a month. (Some of my friends think this is nuts, some think it's brilliant.)

Probably right! I scraped the bottom of my front bumper backing out of the driveway yesterday morning leaving a small scratch visible and to be honest, it was kind of a relief! (But a ding would be a whole different story!!!)

Happy driving! (And safe parking!)

It does not matter what we drive, it's about respect and love. Some people do not have respect for others' property.
Some love their own cars and repect others' cars, and they won't ding your door while parking next to you.

Some are just plain jealous/jerk/wreckless.
