My plans are wheels and tires, and aswell brakes. i will do the m3 control arms and intake manifold if i can afford it all.

I own a 2010 128i
I purchased my 128i because the 128 specs being so close to the e36 M3.
I bought the 3M Crystalline tint package for my ride and added a BMW performance exhaust for less back pressure and for some sounds. What next? I will go to the tail of the Dragon and christen the car next weekend. I ride with a bunch of BMW e30 nuts with M20's, S52's, and other motor swaps. I had to give my daily e21 a rest. I like a light car and I bought the 128i because it will probably be one of the last of the tail happy BMW's from production. Here's my daily driver up on the Dragon 3 years ago this coming weekend. Wish me a safe time. Yes. I have the BMW sickness. Thanks. " |

They(along with the CCA) actually have pretty good pull there and often get higher ups from BMW to come speak. I remember one amusing time the head of Motorsport polled the audience to prove no one buys manual anymore, yet nearly everyone raised their hand.

I moved away from Philly in 1990 to Memphis, TN and started the River City BMWCCA chapter there. I never voted again in Penna. I was a member of the Del-Val BMWCCA and NJ- BMWCCA chapters. I did business with BMW of North America.

Asthetics philosophy question.
If BMW made the 128i/125i as an IS model for the LCI years. What look would it make sense to use up front to distinguish it: e87 Msport/130i - but with LCI grilles e82 128i/125i stock with a splitter/anew type of perfromance lip e82 Perfromance Aero M-Sport/135i - with/without fogs 1m look front ( if 135i did not exist, in this fantacy)

Same as the real 135is.
Certainly NOT 1M. Never been an ___is made on any chassis that got full M treatment.

I always thought BMW could've gotten away using their BMWPerformance bumpers and accessories more, especially on these 'is' models. Just image a stock 135is with the carbon diffusor. Game over, aesthetics.
The 135is should've looked like the tii, even with the stripes as an option. They could've had something good with this 'is' brand - too bad now we're doing M135i. The tii just looked different (which is good) from the ///M philosophy. You guys here about this M770? Last edited by Dafttt; 12-06-2013 at 01:51 AM.. |

An M 770? Really dislike how BMW decided to make BMW performance/BMW Aero/MSport into //M###. I guess they finally decided on a name to call it

Lux package was the bumper slats, no bumper lip, no M twist side skirts, chrome door pulls, Contour wheels, different door card leather inserts, fake wood trim, and comfort seats. It is the less desirable of the E36 M3s. Lux package slats: Sport package mesh:

I'd say that's more an example of the e36 M3 not being a real M car than anything else (said having owned two and currently owning one with the s50b32 (euro engine)).

Had some inspiration, looking back into BMW history. Would require MSport front and also will only work with n52.
Excuse the poor MSpaint-shop. What do you guys think, its very e46

The only thing the CSL and 128i have in common is weight.

I'm actually pretty easy to please. Just very few take the time to deliver.
I value quality, balance, a focus that reflects the role of the vehicle, and accepting what a vehicle is.
