Performance parts included in lease?

I'm about to order a 128i and I'd like to buy the ssk and exhaust up front so I can take delivery with everything fitted. Dealers I've visited so far all went on tellin me the parts dept is completely separate from sales and that they have absolutely no way to get me discounts on said parts and installation. Makimg it a completely separatr process which is really dumb imo. This really sounds like total bs to me - anyone been able to get deals on performance parts pricing and had the price put inside the car's total selling price?

I shopped around at BMW dealer websites for my BMW performance exhaust then sent the link to my CA and asked if their parts dept could match the price. They did, however they sat on the car for an extra hour for the extra labor costs. When confronted with the obvious all I got was attitude and excuses. I will never go back to that dealership, which was the one I bought it from.

I'm no expert, but it seems to me that even though they're BMW parts, they can still be considered after-market and you can't expect to get that great a deal on them. After all, dealers focus on selling the car. They know that if you're buying performance parts then you already have the car, and they don't need to do you any more favours. But I agree with rootcanal, shop around and see if they'll match another price. It's just more business for them (labour).

By the way, where are you buying? I've been to Canbec, Park Ave, and Laval, just ordered from Laval after a long ordeal at Canbec and a waste of time at Park Ave.

I'm gonna buy from the Laval dealer unless I can find a slightly used one someplace else within the next few weeks. I used to go there for my cooper S maintenance and they were always super helpful and friendly, I also like the CA I'm dealing with. Actually the whole experience in Laval has been perfect so far. Now if they would only adjust the 1 series pricing to the current market condition but that's a bmw thing not a dealership issue... leasing a car at a 5.9% interest is really backward these days.
