Are E90/92 Coilovers interchangeable or compadible with E82
I've always been curious, as I lurk the e90post for sale forums a lot & I am looking to upgrade to coils. Are E90/92 coilover's or aftermarket suspension's any different than E82 specific coilovers (such as those sold on **********s on our E82 suspension page).
Specifically I'm directing this question towards KW Coils either in V1/2/3. As they are most common on the e90post forums. I know our stock suspensions are very similar to 335's or E90/92's with Sport Suspension so thats why I am wondering thi |

Any idea about the H&R stuff? My roommate is selling his 335 and has the touring cup kit and asked if I wanted it in exchange for stock parts but wasn't sure if my stock E82 parts would interchange with his shocks and struts on his E92.

All the M3 bits fit except shocks, m differential, rear sub frame and rear lower arm, which has a different rear shock lower mounting. Thus many of the non M suspension kits will interchange between e9x and e81/82/87. Only ride height will be different. e90 springs give the 1 series soft roader rear heights.
