Got my front splitter and side skirts today, along with the hardware. They look great. I was under the impression that the pieces came with mounting holes, but they do not.

Shipping was quick and the seller had good communication.

I don't know if I want to get connecting rods for the splitter or not. Once I decide, and find time to drill mounting holes, I'll get these things installed.

thanks lets see those pics once you get them on

As for the holes, I decided that since mounting requires the front bumper and side skirts to be removed then clamped together to align them, it would be better to drill the holes straight through both pieces at the same time starting from the top inside portion of the bumper or side skirt straight down into the splitter.

This also allows some wiggle room in terms of how / where you want it mounted.

Had some time this past weekend to mount the front splitter.

First off, I'd definitely recommend removing the front bumper for installation. I used a total of 9 bolts to secure the splitter to the bumper. In the middle, I used the 3 stock hole locations and chose to remove the plastic lower mounting point on the car. I drilled 3 more holes on each side of the bumper to secure the lip. I still wanted to mount the wheel wind deflectors, so I trimmed 1/2" notches in the splitter. Then I remounted everything to the car and it's very secure.

Since it is plastic on plastic, I would not recommend mounting it without supporting rods. I used these APR rods, be sure you use a large washer on the back of the bumper. You can try mounting it without the support rods, but I didn't want to take the chance of it folding under at high speeds. I had a body shop mechanic guide me through the whole installation process and he thinks this was the best way to mount it.

It's freezing outside but I'll try to get some better pictures soon. It has been holding up great these past 3 days. Will attempt installing the side splitters in about a month.

Looks great ! glad you like it. If some of you dont like running the splitter rods just use the spacers for mounting the middle section and it will hold fine. You can put more mounting screws closer to the front side as well. seems your body guy only put them towards the back side. Also you can always plasti-dip your spliter rods black.. they will blend in more.

A few more pictures. Hopefully I can install the side splitters in the next couple weeks.

just for clarification since i have been asked by a few people. "suspenceful" chose to mount his splitter to stick out further as per his preference. It can be mounted to stick out less as well.

thanks again suspenceful for sharing the photos and write up

That's right folks! I liked it extended further out, but you can mount it further inwards. There is room for adjustability, so mount it however you like.

Mine is extended out further than this, but you can mount it either way:
