Does anyone know if putting on gauge face overlays will compromise the factory warranty. I hate the gauges on my 128 and I found a site that would make custom gauges for me but I would have to remove the dash and send it to them and they would install the custom gauges and send the cluster back to me.
I ask BMW warranty and they stated that using anything but BMW parts would compromise my warranty. I can't do that. I am wondering if just putting on overlays would present the same problem. Anyone know? Thanks in advance. |

It also won't give a tampered icon which is all that matters to them. -also installing the faces takes 5 mins. I would attempt it yourself if they are charging for the install.

Do you have a template you'd be willing to share? I'm hoping to create a custom gauge face for my boyfriend as a christmas gift . It needs to be a surprise so I cant take the oem ones out for sizing reference. And I cant find any specifications online. Would be a great help!
