Visiting Boston/Newbury Port Area

Hello fellow Bimmerpost members!!!

I am heading to Boston for the first time on vacation. I am from southern-California. I will be staying with someone in Newbury Port. What would you guys recommend I do? Eat? I want to know the MUSTS of Boston. Anything BMW or automotive related would be a plus. If there are any meets or anything going on in the area between today and the 24th I would love to join. Obviously I won\'t have my bimmer but I would love to see how you guys do it on the East Coast! Thanks for any help guys!

Best regards,
Adam

Thanks for the ideas so far...is there anything that I HAVE to see in the city. Or somewhere I NEED to eat at?

That Shine and Show meet on the 23rd sounds tempting! I will see if I can squeeze that in

Yes you NEED to go to the North End in Boston to get some good italian food. Go to modern pastry and get some canoli's, and eat at my personal fav restaurant Trattoria Il Panino. Probably spend a day walking around Newbury st in boston. Go to Copley. Go to Quincy Market.

agreed with evog about Modern Pastry. Mike's is the famous place, but many like Modern better.

for food i'd say go to Limoncello, also in the North End. for pizza, you'll either hear Regina or Santarpio's. you can't go wrong either way. make sure you get some good chowder and oysters too.

fenway is still sort of in mourning, but definitely worth going by anyway. great neighborhood

this weekend is the last bmw club track day up at NHMS in Loudon. idk if you're more of a driving or show guy, but i can't say enough how much fun we all have up there
