Do BMW Performance seats fold forward easily?

Like as easy as regular manual seats?

Just make sure you're buying a set for the E92/82. I vaguely recall a thread where someone bought a fixed back set from an E90...

Thanks. I was just thinking if I find a perfect car that happens to have power seats, this would be a great solution. Plus I could take the power seats and set them up with steering wheels my bedroom for gran turismo. My wife is gonna love this.

They can be bought online at a few places. For big money of course. 2600 per seat plus you need to buy harness adapter for heat And airbags I think.

Some vendors such as ECS Tuning are still selling them but they are not available anymore. They just don't know it. Unless the vendor has them in stock, I highly doubt you are going to find them.

How are you gonna power up the seats for a home setup?

Seriously? Their site shows it would ship May 8th. This isn't true?

Unfortunately they have been discontinued. I don't think ECS is aware of it, which is why they show an expected delivery date on their site. Believe me, unless they physically have it in stock, they aren't getting any. Maybe you'll have some luck finding a used set.

They are aware. I've asked them the question directly. BMW stopped producing them in December, doesn't mean there isn't still inventory floating around.

Garage List
Say whaaaa? Ok, better order my passenger side then, didn't know they stopped making them

Also, the drivers side was easy to install, plug in airbag connector and swap seatbelt/occupancy sensor. Extra 100 for the cable if you want to maintain heated seats. I'm in FL and never use it so left that part undone

They work fine in every capacity. Awesome upgrade, differently makes the car a better driving experience

Coming from somebody who's tried to find a set for the last month. Believe me when I tell you there isn't any inventory floating around.
