Thumbs up Ordered our 335i coupe, $1250 over European Delivery Invoice!!

Me and two other friends just placed orders for the e92 335i couple for euro delivery. We got a great deal on it ($1250 over european delivery invoice). Our CA is Jim Chang at Sonnen BMW in San Rafael, CA. He was very helpful in choosing the options and we each did a test drive on the 330i Sedan.

Here's what I got:
Sparkling Graphite with grey poplar wood and black leather
Premium Package
Sport Package
Steptronic Transmission
I-drive with nav
rear PDC
Comfort Access

Jim said it is estimated that the base MSRP will be about 1000-1500 more than the current 330i e46 coupe. Which comes out to slightly under 40k. But we got it for $1250 over euro delivery invoice/wholesale. Keep in mind that ED invoice is $5580 UNDER MSRP for a 330i sedan. What do u guys think? We ordered three cars from him. Our pickup date in Munich is 10/6/06! I can't wait!! :rocks:

Wow excellent deal, good job.

I've heard nothing but good things about Jim Chang Archibald with Sonnen. He's their ED specialist.

Our CA just got the allocation list just yesterday and he is taking orders for euro delivery time slots. He told us the earliest we could go was 9/25/06, but we picked 10/9 so we could go there on a weekend.

OKKKKKKK i honestly dont understand how he can say its gonna be $1200 over invoice when we all have no idea how much the car is gonna cost?

and if u get all those options for under 40k? and that turns out to be the price thats really good!

just wish they can come out with official pricing so i can make my mind up on what i want and go order one too!

We don't know how much invoice is currently is. Thats what we said $1250 over whatever invoice will be. I am guessing it will be around 34-35k since if it were 1500 over the current e46 coupe. I am expecting to pay under 45k OTD with this pricing.

40k is the base price MSRP estimate.

Yeah, believe it and you'll be disappointed. Consider yourself lucky if you can get the 335 with these options for less than $50K when it first come out.

Read his post, he is doing ED = European Delivery. ED invoices are on avg. $2500-3K less than US invoice cost.

1250 over ED invoice is a great deal
but slightly over 40k with all those options is BS at its fullest (please do not misinform other members)

For real man. Those options alone are already $5-6k.

I mean it might be possible if base MSRP really is about $40k. Cus then invoice would be ~ $37k. Then ED invoice would be about $34,500+ 695+1250=$36,445 + options= $41,445-$42,445 + fees= about $45,500-$46,500. That's not bad at all for a 335. Then again if base MSRP is up the ying yang, then my speculation is way off.

Hey ACE, I might end up doing ED for a 328 (335 is waaaay outta my range)

Searched a few sites it can go anywhere from $900 to $3000, this is for the begining of November.

No ones knows what the invoice will be yet, but it's possible to agree to a $xxxx over invoice cost prior to release.

I ordered my car in May of 2005 a month before the official release of the model and prices that's why it's $xxxx over invoice. It'll be whatever the invoice is plus the dealer profit + taxes.

I think it'll be more than his estimated 40K with his options, but $1250 over invoice on a brand new coupe model is excellent regardless of what the invoice is.

I never said it was going to be 40k. I meant 40k for the MSRP. All I am saying is i got it for 1250 over ED invoice. If this were a e90 sedan, that would be 4330 under MSRP.

Usually the ED saves you around 7%. Just used a 330i to configure with those options. Options came out ~$8400. Usually dealers don't deal with you on invoice for ED.
