Taking a second to introduce myself; I'm Tim, located in Chicago / western burbs. I began my E82 adventure about 2 months ago after previously owning an E90 330i...which on that note, god I wish the 255hp N52 from that car was in the 128. Its a turd, but a good daily.

'09 128i (MT) - mods are simple; H&R sport springs, 18" CSL reps as city driving keeps me away from expensive rims, AFE intake, and the usual stuff like color
match H8's, black kidney and the black trim package.

The previous E90...I do miss 4 doors

And the weekend Jap toy

welcome man, im in the west burbs of chicago myself. hopefully we run into each other at some point or another. nice car and bike too. i had a fully built sti before my 135 so i know what you mean about the 4 doors haha

Welcome Tim, I'm also in the Western Burbs(Downers Grove). I'll give a wave when I see you. Transferring from an Audi A3, I also miss the 4 doors.

Thanks! I too had a suby before the E90, '03 bugeye built for autoX. I know I'll be back to 4 doors for the next car and hopefully boost! If there are any worthwhile meets or anything let me know, I'll see if I can cruise up.

I never had anyone in the back of the E90, but I just like 4 doors ha. I had to give a coupe a try though. And ya if there are any worthwhile meets or anything let me know, I'll see if I can cruise up.

Nah.. my wife will kill me if i got one.. plus if I want to get into trouble i will get a Ducati this time

Welcome, I used to be in Naperville but relocated last year in Colorado : much nicer roads to enjoy the 128i but significant loss of power due to altitude
