What a great afternoon!!

Seriously, I know if I had driven the 135, I would have definitely went that route, but, I wouldn't allow myself to test drive it. I was trying to make a conscience effort to keep my gas mileage close to what I had on my Cooper S, as well as keep my payments in the same dollar range. Not to mention that the z4 coupe is really my dream car - and if I looked at the 135, I might as well have spent a little bit more and gone with the z4.

Okay, that said. The 128i is SUPER!! I think the car has enough power for me, it sounds awesome, drives beautifully, takes corners well. It's everything I hoped for. I especially love not having to brace myself when approaching potholes and small bumps in the road, unlike the MINI.

I was a little worried that I had made the wrong decision, based on the few 128 people I see posting, but I now know I went the right way!! WOOT!

And can I just say that I LOVE my interior, it's muy beautiful!!

Definitely not my best shot, but I only stopped long enough to take this for you all... better pictures to come.

Well, the sun finally started to come out this afternoon, so I washed my 1er and snapped some great digital pics....but due to technology sucking, my stupid xd card reader won't read my 1GB card with the pics on it....so BACK to the drawing board as it is now dark. Pics by this weekend or bust! LOL!

Any twisties in the DFW area? I've found the roads very high quality compared to MI for sure and really look forward to being able to enjoy this machine year-round not having to worry about snow!

I was just discussing that with MatthewDFW. We had our MINI Poker Run around Lake Grapevine. Some nice little roads! I'll try to get our route around the lake from someone.

Also, some nice back roads between Glen Rose and Waco. I feel a run coming on! :smile:
