On another note, churescho joints are pretty damn good too. They mostly use salt and mustard but they usually cook the meat to perfection. Last edited by Chris.G; 03-14-2012 at 11:18 PM.. |

Meat Get a good rack of ribs from a butcher. Remove membrane from the underside. Put in a pot of boiling water for about an hour, or until the meat starts to pull off. (usually takes me 1h 15m). Sauce 1 cup ketchup 1 cup white vinegar 1/2 cup golden syrup (CSR is best) 2 teaspoons sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon onion powder 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco pepper sauce put it in a pot and let it simmer for 45min -> 1h or until it thickens. Once they are both done, take the ribs out and put them in a big dish and get a brush and really jam that sauce throughout the ribs. Then just pour the rest of the sauce over the top, cover the dish and put it in the fridge for 24 hours. I usually take them out every 6 hours and jam that sauce in there good again with the brush Then, on high heat on the bbq cook for 5-10mins each side covering with chilli flakes and the left over sauce. eat and enjoy.

I absolutely LOVE cooking too - growing up in a family whom are all foodies is probably why i'm into it. Its nice to appreciate and be aware of what you put inside your body. And did I mention chicks totally dig guys who can cook?
Im not so much of a Barbie man but I adore my Miele oven and grill... and Kitchen Aid mixer and Theromix is a must for any foodie. BTW- Happy Birthday Rey! Last edited by Honny; 03-14-2012 at 11:08 PM.. |
