Looks great, John! How is your clearance between the wheel/tire and strut on the front?

There is a really big strut clearance, which may come in handy if I need to change to coil overs. From the rim to the OE style strut there is 9mm. My previous 17x8 ET45 wheel has 8mm gap. It indicates to me the front wheel offset may be closer to ET38 than ET40 that I asked for. When I first received the wheels I did a direct measurement of the wheel offset with calipers. I measured the front offset to be ET38 and the rear offset to be ET52. I figured the 2mm variation in the front offset isn't worth worrying about.

Rear:
17x9" ET49 effective (ET52 wheel + 3mm spacer)
Toyo R888 245/40/17
-2.1 degree camber

Suspension mods: BMW performance suspension, M3 front wishbones and tension struts, E93 M3 front sway bar, ground control camber plates.

All fits nicely. There will be enough space for a 255/40/17 R-comp on the rear. 245/40/17 R-comp on the front will need a little more camber and a front fender roll.
It looks like there is No need to roll the rear fenders.
That looks great with the chunky tyres.
Wonder if the 17s will fit over stoptechs.

I'm still deciding what tire I want . I need something that I can hook with from a 40 roll with 600whp and I track days . So I'm choosing between re11 vs rs3 vs nto1 .

Sounds like you actually need slicks.

nice. The front looks great. The rears still got space for a 285 . Isn't the difference between f/r diameters a lot with those?
