Got A/C recharged, air coming out is now warmer than before...

So,

Am pretty sure I have an evaporator leak. Had my AC recharged last spring - worked great throughout the summer, but upon needing it again this spring the air was barely cold coming out.

So I just got it recharged again (at a different place) yesterday as I don't want to deal with the costs of replacing the evaporator at this point. Didn't try it out until today. The air coming out is warmer than it was when I brought it in. In fact there is no difference in temp (at least to feel) with the AC on or off.

It is not very warm today (61f) and even still only get luke warm air coming out. Though interior was definitely warmer after sitting in sun for a few hours.

I'm bringing it back on Monday, but wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what could have happened? There was a note on the invoice that the AC was low - as I expected. Is it possible they discharged and forgot to recharge?

Definitely evaporator is the one which cause the warm air, had my replaced last year and car is running fine.

But even if the evaporator is leaking, shouldn't a recharge get you cool air for at least awhile? I would think so. At the very least, i wouldn't think the air would be warmer after the recharge than before.

If the evaporator is not working proper I don't think it can capture the cool air when it suppose to.
